Blair Morgan Racing Team
Semi-pro open qualifying went well with all 3 team riders winning some heats and making it into the main event, albeit Elam and Coonishish were back row starters having come through the LCQ qualifier. The semi-pro open main event went well with all 3 BMRT riders getting decent starts. Turcotte ran in the top 3 and Coonishish and Elam worked their way through pack from the back row at a frantic pace. At race end, Coonishish found himself with a comfortable lead, Elam worked a last lap pass for 3rd and Turcotte recovered from an off track excursion for 4th. A very strong showing from the BMRT's semi-pro racers.

Blair Morgan made is first racing start of the season. Not yet 100% he rode all the heats and qualified for the main in both Pro Mod and pro stock earning valuable points. Following the weekend Morgan was satisfied with his first event of the season.

Business Manager Wayne Madsen had this to say after speaking with Blair. “It’s tough when you really haven’t had a chance to ride a sled in almost a year, it was Feb 05 when he broke his leg and then he broke the thumb in our test session in November. He’s a bit sore and feeling a little out of synch with the sled yet. He rode hard at our team track last Wed and Thursday and probably did a bit too much prior to the weekend. He is working hard to be ready for EXPN’s Winter X Games at the end of January and still has hopes of capturing the year end points championships."
