Terri Morgan- In reflecting on the past week since our return to Saskatoon I would have to say that is has been bitter sweet for Blair. He has gotten to hug and cuddle the children as well as have visits with family.

Physiotherapy has been making him sore and very tired. As an athlete he acknowledges the pain and discomfort and has been working through it. The physiotherapists have been working with him to get stronger and have the ability to sit up for longer periods of time.

He has fully recovered for the initial trauma of the crash and is now working on rehabilitation and strength training to work with his body as it is now. He appreciates his friends and family’s patiiance with the limitations he has put on visitation until physio ceases to make it difficult to entertain visitors.

Tons of love going out to all those who are so supportive.

We are going to do a school/ ride day at Moto Park on Oct 18, 2008, the school will be in the morning and the afternoon will be open for practice for anyone. The cost for the school will be $125 and will include lunch, for those who just want to come and ride in the afternoon, the cost is $25. At the end of the day, there will be a raffle for various motocross memorabilia, there is going to be some great stuff. Sean, myself Gauldy and Colton Facciotti are confirmed as instructors but Lockhart, Mesley and Beaton,  are all trying to make it. It is going to be a great day and all the proceeds are going to Blair and his family. Please, come out and support one of Canada’s greatest riders. ASHLEE PAINCHAUD; Blair Morgan is the name of Snocross.  He truely affected and inspired millions of riders, competitors, team mates and everyone in the industry and changed the face of the sport.  He is a legend in Canadian motocross and has a world wide fan base in both sports.  Blair Morgan has a global impact on almost everyone who watches, listens, reads or takes part in these sports.  Racing happens to be one of the most respectfully challenging, rewarding and inspiring competitions in the world.
 
For all of us, Blair has been the image of strength, talent, passion, dedication… and most of all inspiration. 
 
This is our way to give back to Blair what he has given us for so many years, to return the inspirtaion he has given to us, and inspire him to get better. Chad Harris of HCP designs and I are creating a tribute to Blair Morgan called “Operation Inspiration”.  We are in the middle of creating a design in honor of Blair and Pro helmet painter Chad Harris will be donating his time to paint a personal helmet for every Pro Racer who will be on the line at Duluth with a color and theme 100% dedicated to Blair Morgan.  We want to make an impact at the first round this year, so we ask every team owner, and racer to please be a part of this operation to give back to Blair. 
 
Since everyone can’t wear a helmet, the helmets are going to be backed by a T-shirt of similar design, color and theme. We will be having thousands made up and a website to purchase them on.  We have spoken with ISOC and will be selling them at Duluth with proceeds going to Blair and his family as well.  The colors for the helmets and t-shirts are chosen as Black, Blue and White and the theme word being “Inspiration”.  The back of the helmet’s will feature a large orange 7C in Blair’s honor.  After Duluth we will ask all of the racer’s to sign one or more of the helmet’s and they will be auctioned off on the website.  All of the proceeds will be goig to Blair and his family in this hard time.

by Terri Morgan;  have exciting news to report. We have arrived closer to home! This morning we got the final word on the sky service air ambulance. At 9:30 am the Sky service crew arrived and we were transported to the airport where the Pilots were awaiting our arrival. The excitement of seeing the children made the flight feel longer then the 4 hours it actually took. We arrived in Saskatoon before 1 pm and were transported to the hospital where Blair is staying in isolation.  Doctors are evaluating him and he will soon be moved to a rehabilitation center. He is very much looking forward to starting his work with the physiotherapists now that he is feeling better and no longer taking pain medication.
Although the hospital staff in Montreal was amazing we are very much looking forward to the next stage in Rehabilitation. Blair has requested at this time that visitation be solely granted to our immediate family members. This will give him time to adjust to his new surrounding and get settled into his rehabilitation schedule.
